The Compass: Verse of the Day

But I confess my sins; I am deeply sorry for what I have done.

All of us, like sheep, have strayed away.  We have left God’s paths to follow our own.  Yet the LORD laid on him the sins of us all.

And when I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw everyone to myself.

The LORD will work out his plans for my life -- for your faithful love, O LORD, endures forever.  Don't abandon me, for you made me.

He will listen to the prayers of the destitute.  He will not reject their pleas.
